Rennie Gold
Rennie Gold was born into a show business family. His father, Al Gold, was a vaudeville performer and later a theatrical agent, while his mother, Sherry Gold, was a professional dancer and the founder of The Gold School. Rennie began dancing at the age of three in his mother’s basement studio. By eleven, he had earned his Actor’s Equity card and was performing professionally—touring the country in musicals, dinner theaters, industrials, and with the Sherry Gold Dance Company throughout high school.
In the 1980s, Rennie built a versatile career as a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer, teaching at Broadway Dance Center and the David Howard Dance Center in New York City. In 1992, he became a choreographer at Walt Disney World, where he created and directed performances across the Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, Pleasure Island, and other venues.
Following the passing of his mother in 1996, Rennie returned home to lead The Gold School, carrying forward Sherry Gold’s legacy of excellence in dance education while expanding its reach through innovative programs such as the Project Moves Dance Company. Known for creating choreography that challenges dancers and audiences alike to make the world a better place, Rennie has received numerous national and international Choreography Awards, and served as co-choreographer of the 2000 and 2001 World Tap Dance Champions.
Under his direction, students have performed at the White House, the World Tap Championships, The Joyce Theaterin New York City, ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and Dancers Responding to AIDS’ Fire Island Dance Festival. His students have also been accepted to some of the nation’s most prestigious dance programs, including The Juilliard School, Fordham/Ailey, NYU Tisch, Boston Conservatory, and more. His alumni continue to thrive in film, on Broadway, and in world-renowned dance companies.

Tyeri Morrison
Tyeri Morrison is from the greater Boston area where he dedicated 13 years of his life to versatile dance training at The Gold School under the direction of Rennie Gold.
Ty received his BFA In Contemporary Dance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee on full scholarship. During his time at the Conservatory, he performed works by such acclaimed choreographers as Darrell Moultrie, Catherine Coury, Bradley Shelver, Adrianne Hawkins, and Martha Nichols. Immediately after graduation, he was featured in various on-site dance film productions with choreographers Roderick George, Ashley Lindsay, Antonio Brown, and Levi Marsman.
At the beginning of his professional career, Ty has had the honor of being a guest artist with the Limón Dance Company and a collaborative artist with Little House Dance Company. From there, he joined BODYTRAFFIC as a full time company artist internationally performing works by choreographers like Micaela Taylor, Alejandro Cerrudo, Fernando Hernando Magadan, Juel D. Lane, Barak Marshall, Mathew Neenan, Trey McIntyre & more. Throughout his career Ty has been blessed to be able to continuously freelance and build relationships in all disciplines.
You can find him in all rooms ranging from hip hop music videos, Museum installations, and even live immersive performances with Grammy Nominated Artist Palaver Strings Orchestra. Ty takes pride in his efforts made towards educational outreach and awareness of this art form to all ages in every community.
He’s a firm believer in the therapeutic power this art form possesses and desires to encourage access to all demographics including those less fortunate.
Kellie Grant
Kellie Grant McGrath Director of The Gold School trained for 15 years at The GOLD School under the direction of Rennie Gold, performing in the early stages of the Project Moves Dance Company throughout the United States and Germany, before joining The GOLD School/Project Moves Dance Company faculty in 2006.
Kellie assisted and trained as a teacher and choreographer with Rennie Gold while working on her B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing with a minor in Hearing and Deafness at Emerson College. Kellie is a two-time nominee for the Evvy Award in Outstanding Choreography and is a three-time recipient of American Dance Awards’ Young Choreographer of the Year award. In June 2011, she was featured at the Young Choreographer’s Festival in New York City. Her work has been performed at the Joyce Theater in New York City, Symphony Space in New York City, The Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA in Boston, and numerous theaters and schools in the Boston area. She is immensely proud to be with Project Moves Dance Company and The Gold School.
David Guzman
Larry Sousa
Larry Sousa’s work has appeared at The New York Fringe Festival, Goodspeed Musicals, Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre, The Joyce Theatre, North Coast Rep, Creativiva (Toronto), Wyoming Theatre Festival, and Utah Musical Theatre. In Los Angeles, his productions have been seen at The Garry Marshall Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, The Canon, Matrix Theatre, and Musical Theatre West, among others.
A fixture in the Boston professional theatre community, Larry’s work has been featured at Speakeasy Stage, Lyric Stage, Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, Wheelock Family Theatre, Umbrella Stage, Gloucester Stage, Reagle Music Theatre, and Boston Children’s Theatre, among many others.
Larry is currently in his 8th year as Resident Director and Choreographer of Harvard University’s legendary Hasty Pudding Show. He is also a longtime Professor of Musical Theatre at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a frequent guest artist at leading college theatre programs including Emerson College, the University of Southern California, and Boston University. Most recently, he completed a year-long residency as the prestigious J. Donald Monan Guest Professor in Theatre Arts at Boston College.
His work has been honored with the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, the L.A. Ovation Award, multiple IRNE Awards, and numerous Elliot Norton Award nominations and wins.
Larry holds a BFA in Theatre from Ithaca College and pursued an interdisciplinary MFA in Theatre at the University of California, Irvine.
A proud Gold School alumnus, Larry has returned home for decades to work with and inspire the next generation of dancers.

Steve Vaughn
STEVE VAUGHN

Steven Vaughn was born in the Midwest and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated with Honors from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, earning a BFA in Modern Dance, focusing on choreography. As a senior at the University of the Arts, Steven began working with Parsons Dance as an apprentice, performing at the Joyce Theater with the company while finishing his BFA. At graduation, he was honored with the Stella Moore Prize for Four-Year Achievement and the Award for Excellence in Modern Dance. After graduating he joined Parsons Dance full time, under director David Parsons; touring and teaching with the company. He danced with Parsons both domestically and internationally, including Italy, China, Brazil, Russia, and more.
He has taught throughout the United States including various dance college programs, Broadway Dance Center in NYC , University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University , as well as masterclasses in Italy and Israel.
Steven’s work was selected for the 2014 Emerging Choreographer Commission for Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, and Harvard University, among others.
He has worked as a physical therapy trainer and Pilates instructor in New York City.
Now, having returned to his childhood home on the South Coast of Massachusetts, is co-owner and director of The Studio on Pope’s Island in New Bedford, MA.

TYSON ALI CLARK
Biography
Tyson Ali Clark began his dance training at age 3 at Mary Flynn Murphy Dance Studio in Somerville, Massachusetts. He also trained at the Gold School with Project Moves Dance Company in Brockton, Massachusetts. Clark studied with Boston Ballet School from 2008 to 2011 and returned in 2015 on full merit scholarship as a Boston Ballet School Trainee under the direction of Margaret Tracey.
His repertoire includes excerpts of George Balanchine’s Donizetti Variations and Jean Coralli’s Giselle, Ivan Liška’s Le Corsaire, Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker, John Neumeier’s The Third Symphony of Gustav Mahler, and Marius Petipa’s The Sleeping Beauty.
Clark attended summer programs on full merit scholarship at the School of American Ballet (2014, 2015), Houston Ballet Academy (2016), and Boston Ballet (2017). In 2016, he received the Princess Grace Foundation Dance Scholarship Award and the Chris Hellman Dance Award. In 2017, he represented Boston Ballet School at the Assemblée Internationale in Toronto, Canada.
Clark joined Boston Ballet II in 2017. He joined Boston Ballet as an artist in 2019 and was promoted to second soloist in 2023.
Alex Grant
Alex is excited to be back at No Boundaries this summer! A versatile artist, he brings experience in dance, musical theatre, choreography, teaching, and technical theatre. A Gold School alum and current faculty member, Alex teaches ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theatre.
His choreography was recently featured at the Young Choreographer’s Festival at the The Joyce Theater in NYC. Alex is currently pursuing his BFA in Contemporary Dance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where he also trains in various circus arts.
As a performer, Alex has appeared in works at the Boston Conservatory, the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Dartmouth Cultural Center, and venues across Greater Boston, including performances in projects directed by Rennie Gold. His credits also include The Nutcracker (Russian & Spanish) with Commonwealth Ballet Company, as well as Pippin, Chicago, Almost, Maine, and Seussical.
